RKK College, Purnea, Bihar is an affiliated unit of Purnea University, Purnea. Formerly, it was an affiliated college of BNMU Madhepura Bihar. Formerly, it was an affiliated college of LNMU Dharbhanga, Bihar Covering a total area of 06 acres, it was established in 1982 with the aim to improve access to higher education for the female section of underprivileged people living in the remote and backward area of this northeastern region of Bihar. The institution's goal is to motivate and prepare the students to meet the challenges of modern life and find jobs. The college has a built-up area of 3 acre. (approx.) is situated in an urban area. It had a strength of 923 students at the degree level during the session 2004-05. The success rate during the last two batches was 77% and 78% and the drop rate was 0.5%. The financial category of the college is Govt. funded. The college has had UGC recognition since 1983 under section 2f and has achieved recognition u/s 12 B since May 2004.
